El Horriya is one of the oldest and largest super yachts in the world still in operation, and was originally built for the king of Egypt, and is now owned by the Arab Republic of Egypt.
In 1872 the ship was lengthened by 12.1 meters and with another 5.2 meters in 1905, her last major rebuild taking place in 1950.
El Horriya now serves as the Presidential Yacht, and is seldom seen in public.
