It looks like Paul Allen, Microsoft’s co-founder, really loved the song about the yellow submarine, so he bought one for $12 million.
The fully operational 40-foot yellow submarine did not come as a surprise, as he is well known for owning several luxury yachts too.
He is actually a member of a small, exclusive clique of ultra-rich underwater explorers.
