For a 750ml bottle of this wine you will pay around $16,992.

However, in 2007 a Jeroboam of this wine was named one of the greatest vintages of the previous century. And it was sold to a bidder at Sotheby’s New York for $310,700 or almost $77,675 per bottle.

Before that, a Jeroboam of this wine was purchased by an anonymous bidder at Christie’s, London.

The $114,614 price-tag is almost equal to $23,000 per 750 ml which puts Chateau Mouton-Rothschild 1945 on the 7th place in our most expensive red wines in the world list.
