8 Photo Archive – $100,000
Several pictures were taken in the middle of the tragedy, but one of the most striking is a photo of the iceberg that was believed to have struck the Titanic.
The iceberg had red paint smeared alongside the bottom of it from the red paint on the Titanic’s hull, which is the main reason people suspect that because of this iceberg, the Titanic sank.
The price of the picture is directly proportional with its rarity. I mean this is the only photo of that iceberg existing today, and was taken just mere days after the tragedy.
It was sold in 2012 for just $100,000, making it also one of the most expensive photographs ever sold of all time.
