Take a Look Inside Cristiano Ronaldo’s $18.5m Apartment in Trump Tower
Inside Cristiano Ronaldo’s $18.5m Apartment in Trump Tower!
After Donald Trump has sold his apartment from the same building, the Real Madrid star has bought a luxury pad in the same building.
Trump Tower is regarded as one of Manhattan’s most prestigious and secure condominiums.
It is no surprise that Ronaldo has spent $18.5 million for an apartment, because we all know that he likes to spend big. Few weeks ago he bought his agent, as a wedding gift, a private island.
Where is located?
The 30-year-old star has purchased this 2,510 square feet Fifth Avenue loft, reports the New York Post.
This deal, which was finished on Wednesday, has cost him $18.5 million.
The athlete is now the owner of an apartment that previously belonged to Alessandro Proto, an Italian real-estate tycoon and business partner of the owner, Donald Trump.
Lately rumors have circulated everywhere saying that as soon as his Real Madrid contract expires in 2018, Ronaldo will be moving to Major League Soccer.
And by buying this apartment, he did fueled those rumors that he could be joining international stars Frank Lampard, David Villa, and Andrea Pirlo with New York City FC.
The possibilities are endless, because he could as well be moving to New Jersey-based Red Bulls.
With that possibility in mind, let’s talk some ‘specs’ about the apartment.
Best part about it?
With incredible 360-degree views, that are even visible from the shower, the interior of the apartment was designed by Juan Pablo Molyneux, a well-known designer for his ‘maximalism’ style.
The three-bedroom apartment is one of Trump Tower’s extremely desirable ‘L-Line’ spaces.
How come?
Well, the L-Line penthouses are famous for their incredible panoramic views. And this one is no exception; Ronaldo will enjoy the views of all of Central Park, the Hudson River to the West, and iconic buildings such as Freedom Tower, Empire State Building, and the Chrysler Building to the South.
This explains why the price might seem astronomical for a space of this size.
But wait! The pad also includes two separate marble bathtubs, a dining area that overlooks Central Park, and a gourmet kitchen.
It doesn’t look like anything a soccer player would buy, which is why I think, Ronaldo bought it.
Built in 1983, the apartment seem to have a somewhat-dated interior that features a faux limestone entryway, extravagant built-ins, recessed lighting, a mix of hardwood and carpet, and glamorous bathrooms.
