We begin our top 5 of the most valuable crown jewels with the crown of Saint Wenceslas.
Made in 1347, the crown is a part of the Czech treasure, also known as the Bohemian Crown Jewels.
This ‘collection’ includes the crown, a scepter, royal orb, Saint Wenceslas’ sword, gold reliquary cross and coronation vestments.
The St. Wenceslas Crown is made from 22-carat gold and embellished with several precious gems, like pearls, emeralds, sapphires and rubies.
The crown features a total of 19 sapphires, 1 ruby, 20 emeralds and 20 pearls.
