Louis Vuitton x Supreme Debuted Their Menswear Collection at Paris Fashion Week!

Here Is Everything You Need to Know About Louis Vuitton x Supreme Collaboration!

Like we said, here is everything you need to know about Louis Vuitton x Supreme collaboration!

The two of the best fashion brands have decided to put their strength together and create one of the best collections I have ever seen!

Back in 2000, Supreme wished to start collaborating with Louis Vuitton, but something came up and we never go to see that happen.

Well, seventeen years later, Louis Vuitton introduced a collaboration with Supreme at their Fall-Winter 2017 Show in Paris.

Louis Vuitton actually created something cool with Supreme on a collection of dually branded clothes, accessories, shoes and many more.

But the collaboration didn’t start out of nowhere, no. Rumors about the two brands uniting their forces have been circling in menswear corners of the web for a while now.

The rumors all started last summer when James Jebbia, Supreme’s founder, was seen in the front row at the Louis Vuitton’s Spring-Summer 2017 Show.

Also, Louis Vuitton menswear designer Kim Jones is a known street wear aficionado in his own right and one of his first jobs in college was to unpack boxes for the company that imported Supreme to the U.K., which only brought more rumors.

Then, there was this fuzzy shot of LV knit with a Supreme logo ‘running wild’ on the internet.

Then there was a picture of A$AP Bari wearing what appeared to be a Supreme x Louis Vuitton Bandana, a point where internet went crazy and no one could hide the rumors anymore – everything was confirmed.

“No New York City conversation is complete without Supreme,” said Jones in a press release. We might say no menswear conversation period can really be complete in 2017 without mentioning Supreme, and this Louis Vuitton collaboration further cements the brand’s ability to blur the true definition of “luxury.”

“I used to work when I was at college unpacking boxes of Supreme at a company in London that distributed it when it was just starting out, so it’s something I’ve known all along in my life. I just feel that the strength of their graphic versus the strength of the Louis Vuitton graphic, and that kind of Pop Art feeling — it works together perfectly,” he added.

After the entire collection was revealed at Paris Fashion Week, Supreme took it over to Instagram to unveil two pieces that were not in the runway show—a red leather bomber jacket and sneakers.

We can’t wait to see more about their prices and their next collaboration! Stay tuned for more information!
